Carmel Valley

Just east of Del Mar and five minutes from the beach, Carmel Valley is a newer area of homes, schools and shopping centers. The school district is first rate, with students of Torrey Pines High School frequently taking top scores for the county.

It is the closest community to Sorrento Valley, which is the hub of San Diego's biotech, software and communications industries. It's also just a short drive down I-5 to Downtown San Diego. Carmel Valley offers housing suitable for singles, couples and large families. The Pacific Athletic Club developments offer tennis, swimming, a gym, and spa services.
